Introducing... North Tyneside Children in Care Council
The Care Council is a forum of young people who meet regularly to discuss and share views of being looked after, and feed into decision makers in North Tyneside to ensure services reflect what young people in care need.
They have monthly formal meetings where they discuss issues being raised by decison makers and feed in their views and opinions to make sure children and young people have a voice. However, they also get involved in lots of other projects in addition to this such as holding events for other looked after children to have the chance to have their say.
