The Launch Event took place on Saturday 13th March at The Public in Sandwell, West Bromwich. Officially Launching with a collection of presentations from Hearing Unheard Voices Steering Group Members, LGYM, Warrington Youth Club and DGYPN, as well as a keynote speech from Cllr Linda Horton. to see their presentations click here
The Launch was a huge success, with over 400 people in attendance from across the country, made up of predominantly young people, youth workers, Heads of Service and Councillors.
The day saw the official launch of the HUV local influence group’s campaign exhibition, giving each of the Local Influence groups the chance to showcase their campaigns to a huge audience.
The main aim of the Launch event was for the young people participating in the day's activities to have their voices heard. The 'Unheard Voices' are too often brushed under the carpet, and it's about time that we started listening to them!
A whole floor of The Public was dedicated to the HUV exhibition - and was complimented by various activities which gave participants the opportionity to join in and express their opinions through the e-reporting workshops.
