CAMPAIGN SPOTLIGHT - WARRINGTON YOUTH CLUB

YOUNG PEOPLE IN VOLUNTEERING
March 11, 2010
Get involved!
The young people who attend the Peace Centre Youth Club’s campaign is to get more young people involved in volunteering by promoting the benefits and opportunities it brings to young people.
The group believe that every young person in their local area (and the UK) has the right to volunteer, and want their campaign to reach out to disadvantaged young people nationally, and especially to those who have never considered volunteering before.

Campaign Message
The campaign message is to tell all young people of the benefits of volunteering –
- Building confidence
- Making new friends
- Improve your health
- Have more fun
- Gives you something to put on your CV allowing young people to
- Gain new skills that may not have been possible to get through paid work.
All adults and young people throughout the UK can get involved in volunteering and more should, because of the benefits it can bring to their lives and the people they volunteer for.
